For our 350^th, we have brought in Sam Thompson from Witchpolice Radio, the godfather of Canadian Podcasts. We had to have the best topic to spring on him and we found it. Jered Eames was a musician who had a plan to become famous. Redubbing himself Jered Threatin as a solo artist in 2015, he launched his career with his first single Living Is Dying. And from here, things just got weirder and weirder. With a Go Daddy account and Internet savvy, he created a hype for himself on social media, using dummy record labels, booking companies and management companies, and bought “Likes” on Facebook.

We delve into the Eames’ transformation in Threatin’, the media circus he created for himself and just what happened when his scheming was uncovered.
