Episode 516 – Nick Friesen Talks Comics and Music

Nick has released The Setlist, an anthology of stories by writers and artists around the world, released as I and II. Each story must center around music, Nick assembled these stories through his own Inservice Comics. There is also a release under Inservice Records that features music by the contributors of the comics.

We also chat some about the Olivia Sea graphic novel, and the music he writes for the character, that was also released through Inservice Records.

We also chat about balancing work, creativity and family, the distinction between creating original works and doing fan fiction, music and a host of other topics.
