Once upon a time in our fair city, a great radio station called CKIC-FM came on the airwaves to add college radio to our city, competing against the university stations UMFM from the University of Manitoba and CKUW from the University of Winnipeg. The amount of great music we all got exposed to pushed indie music hard. Oh yeah, and that guy Robert did, too. We all have our own Robert. But more on him on a later episode.
